We’re growing our team at Mackay, QLD and are looking for an experienced Heavy Diesel Mechanic to join us.

Responsibilities/duties will include:

• Diagnosing mechanical faults and carrying out repairs and servicing

• Preventative maintenance and routine servicing of equipment

• Diagnosing, testing and repairing mechanical components

• Component removal, replacement and rebuilds

• Carrying out major mechanical repairs and overhauls

Requirements:

• Trade qualification in Heavy Diesel Mechanical or Light Vehicle Mechanical

• Be competent in performing routine maintenance and services on plant machines

• Diagnose and test parts and components

• Undertake repairs and services on vehicles (light, medium, heavy), Civil & Earthmoving equipment and small plant.

• Driver's License, HR (preferred)

• Komatsu and Cat experience (desirable but not essential)

• Forklift / High risk work licenses (desirable)

• Hands on approach

• Ability to work autonomously, in a fast-paced environment

• Must be able to pass a Medical including a Drug & Alcohol test
