Indian Beauty Secrets has raised the standards for salons and spas combining ancient beauty rituals with modern treatments to offer our clients a truly unique experience.
We are looking for a client focused and energetic Hairdresser to join our dynamic and creative team at our Blacktown, Salon in NSW.
Main Responsibilities:
• Cutting, trimming, and shaping hair by means of scissors, clippers, and razors.
• Shampooing, conditioning, colouring, straightening, and permanently waving hair using chemical solutions.
• Styling hair into dreadlocks, and braids using hot irons and curlers.
• Provide clients with hair treatments such as oiling, masking, and mudding.
• Provide clients with information on prices and timeframes of each treatment and any package deals that they can benefit from.
• Colour and treat hair according to specific instructions provided by clients.
• Shaving and trimming beards and moustaches.
• Advising clients regarding hair care, treatments, and hairstyles.
• Cleaning and sterilizing all hairdressing tools and instruction to ensure that state-health and safety standards are met.
• Arranging client appointments and managing payment transactions.
• Cleaning, cutting, colouring, and styling wigs and hairpieces as required.
• Give clients information on beauty products available at the salon.
• Promote and up-sell retail products displayed at the salon.
Eligibility Criteria:
• AQF Certificate 3 in hairdressing with 2 years of on job training or Certificate IV.
• Minimum 1-year experience in hairdressing
• You must be an Australian Citizen/ Permanent Resident or have proper working rights in Australia.
Salary - $$80,000 plus super
