We're looking for a passionate and experienced Lead Educator to guide our Junior Kindy room in delivering rich, play-based experiences that align with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), fostering curiosity, creativity, and a lifelong love of learning for every child. This is a permanent full-time position based in the beautiful suburb of Hamilton, within our charming heritage-listed centre that caters for up to 49 children.

You'll be supported with strong organisational backing across programming and quality practices, as well as genuine opportunities for professional development and growth. If you're seeking a welcoming service with dedicated educators and joyful children, we'd love to hear from you, apply today!

About Us:

Located in the heritage-listed St Cecilia's school building, our centre offers families the best of both worlds — modern facilities mixed with old-world charm. • Utilise programming time to plan, document, and reflect on the educational program
  • Build strong, trusting relationships with children, families, and the wider community
  • Promote the service within the local community in accordance with Catholic Early EdCare's values and educational philosophy
  • Participate actively in ongoing professional and personal development

Job Requirements:

  • Hold a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or an ACECQA approved equivalent — essential for this role
  • Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis certifications (or willingness to obtain)
  • Mandatory Child Protection (Geccko) Course 1 & 2 — Course 3 & 4 optional but highly regarded
  • A valid Queensland Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
  • Strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standard
