ARC Staff is currently recruiting experienced and reliable grounds maintenance workers and team leaders for several ongoing positions across Brisbane and the Gold Coast.

Positions Available
1. Grounds Maintenance Team Leader – Northside Brisbane
We are seeking an experienced grounds maintenance team leader to supervise a small team, coordinate daily tasks and ensure grounds maintenance work is completed to a high standard.
2. Grounds Maintenance Team Leader – Woodridge / South Brisbane
An experienced team leader is required to oversee a grounds maintenance team while also assisting with general gardening, mowing and outdoor maintenance duties.
3. Grounds Maintenance Worker – Thornlands
An ongoing position maintaining gardens, lawns and outdoor areas.
4. Grounds Maintenance Worker – Benowa / Gold Coast
An ongoing position assisting with general grounds maintenance, mowing, trimming and garden upkeep.
What We Offer
- Pay rate: $34.75 per hour
- Hours: Generally 7:00 am – 2:30 pm
- Days: Monday to Friday
- Consistent, ongoing work
- Weekly pay
- Immediate starts available
- Opportunity to work with an established grounds maintenance team
Applicants must be available for a minimum of 6 months.
Your Duties Will Include
- Lawn mowing and whipper snipping
- Hedge trimming and pruning
- Weeding and general garden maintenance
- Maintaining lawns, gardens and outdoor areas
- Operating gardening and grounds maintenance equipment
- General site clean-up and keeping outdoor areas tidy
Team leaders will also be responsible for:
- Supervising and supporting grounds maintenance staff
- Coordinating daily work activities
- Ensuring work is completed safely and efficiently
- Maintaining high standards of presentation across sites
What We’re Looking For
- Previous gardening or grounds maintenance experience
- Confidence using lawn mowers, whipper snippers and hedge trimmers
- Reliable transport
- Good physical fitness and a strong work ethic
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Availability Monday to Friday for at least 6 months
- Ability to obtain a National Police Check
- Ability to obtain a Blue Card (Working with Children Check) if required for certain sites
For the team leader positions, previous supervisory or team-leading experience is highly regarded.
