General Manager | Food Manufacturing & Export | Vanuatu
Osborne Richardson is working exclusively with Forney Enterprises, a founder-led food manufacturing and export business based in Luganville, Espiritu Santo.
Forney is now in its twentieth year, with significant manufacturing capability, an established international market presence, and a strong reputation for quality and trusted customer relationships.
The founders are ready to hand over day-to-day leadership. The business doesn’t need rebuilding as it needs a General Manager who can strengthen the leadership, systems and financial discipline to take it to the next stage of growth.
The role
Reporting to the founders, you’ll have full P&L accountability and lead the Senior Leadership Team across Operations, Finance, People & Culture, Quality, Supply and Commercial.
You’ll:
* Turn strategy into clear priorities, accountability and measurable results
* Build a stable, capable leadership team and lead through them
* Drive financial discipline across cost, margin, cash, working capital and capex
* Lift production reliability, through output & yield + food safety
* Develop Ni-Vanuatu leaders and build succession for the long term
About you
* A proven General Manager or equivalent executive with full P&L accountability
* A background in regulated food manufacturing or processing
* Commercially sharp, comfortable with budgets, margin, cost and investments
* Able to strengthen and scale a business at a pace it can absorb
* Culturally intelligent, grounded, and ready to commit to living in Vanuatu
* Experience in a founder-led or family business in developing markets
