About this position
The City of Gosnells Engineering Services Team is offering an excellent opportunity for a suitably qualified, experienced and self-motivated individual to carry out road, path repairs and broad maintenance of the City's pedestrian and road network safely and to a high standard.
This is a permanent position based at the City's Operations Centre in Maddington.
What we are looking for
To be successful, you must be able to demonstrate:
- Relevant industry experience.
- Proficiency with the safe operation of a front-end loader and skid steer.
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
- Sound knowledge of civil infrastructure construction and maintenance practices.
- Sound knowledge of engineering maintenance techniques.
- Ability to read plans and calculate quantities to order materials.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience in the use of pressure cleaners, sweepers, concrete grinding equipment and various plant will be highly regarded.
Essential requirements
- Current MR driver's licence.
- White Card
- Current National Police clearance (less than three months old). Please note: This is not essential to apply for the role but will be required at a later stage as it is an appointment condition.
