About the Role
Nestled within the grounds of St John the Baptist Catholic Primary School, our purpose-built Early Learning Centre is a joyful space where curiosity thrives. Our Long Day Care program offers a rich variety of play-based experiences designed to spark imagination, build confidence, and support each child’s unique interests.
We’re seeking a passionate Diploma-qualified Educator to join our extended hours preschool room, working alongside an Early Childhood Teacher and a Certificate III Educator.
Hours: Rotating shifts – 7:00am to 3:00pm and 10:00am to 6:00pm
Rostered Day Off (RDOs) included
What You’ll Do
- Support the planning, implementation, and evaluation of engaging programs aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework
- Create a welcoming, safe, and hygienic environment that reflects best practice
- Assist with observations and experiences to support each child’s learning journey
- Build positive, supportive relationships with children and families
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues to maintain a harmonious team environment
What We’re Looking For
- Diploma in Early Childhood Education
- Current and valid Working With Children Check
- Current First Aid and CPR certification
- Completion of CHCPRT025 – Identify & Report Children & Young People at Risk
- A genuine passion for early childhood education and a commitment to professional excellence
