Full-time Cooks Required

We are looking for full-time cooks to join our team.

Successful applicants are expected to assist the company’s business revenue growth through the delivery of authentic Asian cuisines.

Duties will include:

·Prepare and cook a variety of Malaysian and Asian-style dishes in accordance with established recipes and customer orders.

·Inspect the quality and freshness of ingredients, and prepare meat, vegetables, rice, soups, sauces and other food items for daily cooking.

·Apply appropriate cooking techniques, including steaming, stir-frying, deep-frying and simmering, while seasoning dishes to achieve consistent flavour and quality.

·Monitor and adjust cooking times and temperatures to ensure food is properly cooked and presented.

·Portion, assemble and garnish dishes, ensuring consistent presentation and quality before serving.

·Prepare ingredients and food items in advance to support efficient kitchen operations during busy trading periods.

·Prepare meals according to customers' dietary requirements and preferences, where applicable.

·Monitor stock levels, rotate ingredients and assist with ordering food supplies when required.

·Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment, cooking facilities and food preparation areas, ensuring compliance with food safety and hygiene standards.

·Assist in training and supervising kitchen hands in food preparation, cooking procedures and safe food handling practices.

Salary: $79,500.00 to $85,000.00 /year

Skills and Experience:

·AQF Certificate III in Cookery or at least two years of relevant Asian restaurant work experience

·Good team work spirit

·Asian cultural background preferred
