Full Time Cafe Supervisor
- Supervise day-to-day café operations and lead the team in the Café Manager’s absence.

About Us:
Toby started roasting in his Mum’s garage in Woolloomooloo nearly 30 years ago, and there’s a been a change or two along the way. These days, Toby has left the building, but we've welcomed three new cafes to the fold – Newstead in Brisbane, Fitzroy in Melbourne and an outpost in Singapore, not to mention our Chippendale Flagship cafe won best coffee shop in the world in 2025 (and top 5 in 2026). We’re exploding on the international scene too – with Japan and New York on the cards, and licensees and roasteries in nine countries, and counting. As our Cafe Supervisor, you’ll play a key role in creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere and delivering exceptional coffee experiences for our customers. You'll support day‑to‑day café operations by performing all Barista and FOH duties while assisting to lead the team in the Café Manager’s absence. As part of this, this role will include cash handling, float management and till reconciliation, assisting with coffee ordering and stock control processes, overseeing front and back of house staff for start, break and finishing times, coordinating cafe opening and closing, and carrying out preventative maintenance and quality control on equipment.

This is a full‑time, permanent position (38 hours per week) worked across five days at our Newstead Flagship Cafe.
