    We are seeking enthusiastic and clinically experienced nurses who are passionate about patient care to join the Emergency team.

    The Emergency Department (ED) unit features 50 beds and treatment spaces, divided into distinct zones:
    • Paediatrics
    • 24 hour Short stay
    • Adult acute assessment
    • Resuscitation
    • Mental health assessment

    As an Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN) ,you will take a leadership role in the coordination of nursing care and work in partnership with Enrolled Nurses (ENs) and Assistants in Nursing (AINs) providing supervision, direction and guidance to deliver patient care.

    You will also provide support and guidance to nursing peers and patients for the management of their health care, rehabilitation or end of life needs and maintain a professional development portfolio with a commitment to ongoing learning and development.

    About You

    • Current Registration with AHPRA or In-Principle approval
    • a minimum 2 years’ experience in a Critical Care or Emergency Nursing environment
    • Post Graduate Certificate in Emergency Nursing (or working towards) -Desired
    • Compliance with ACQSHC National standards
    • Proficient in making sound clinical decisions and solving problems effectively
    • Demonstrates exceptional communication and customer service abilities
    • Capable of working autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team
