Our client is a well-established Australian manufacturer and distributor seeking an experienced Forklift Operator / Yard Hand to join their busy operations team. This is a hands-on role offering stable, ongoing work within a safety-focused and team-oriented environment.

Your new role
Working across the warehouse and yard, you will be responsible for the safe movement of stock, loading and unloading trucks, and maintaining an organised yard to support daily operations.Key responsibilities include:

• Operating forklifts safely and efficiently
• Loading and unloading trucks
• Picking, packing and preparing orders for dispatch
• Receiving and storing inbound goods
• Moving materials throughout the warehouse and yard
• Assisting with stock control and inventory activities
• Maintaining a clean, organised and safe work environment
• General labouring and yard duties as required

What you'll need to succeed

• Current Forklift Licence (LF)
• Previous forklift operating experience in a warehouse, manufacturing or industrial environment
• Ability to work safely in a busy yard environment
• Strong awareness of workplace health and safety
• Good communication skills and a reliable work ethic
• Ability to perform manual handling and physical work throughout the day
