Forklift Driver - Sideloader

Our client, Australia's leading manufacturer and supplier of roll formed steel building products, is seeking experienced Side Loader Forklift Operators for ongoing day and night shift opportunities in Crestmead.

Working within a busy manufacturing and distribution facility, you will play a key role in the safe movement, loading and unloading of steel products using a side loader forklift. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced forklift operators looking for stable hours, competitive pay rates and long-term employment with an industry-leading business.

Available shifts

Day Shift
• Monday to Friday
• 6:00am to 2:30pm
• $38.00 per hour

Night Shift
• Sunday to Thursday
• 7:00pm to 3:00am
• $49.47 per hour

Key responsibilities
• Operate side loader forklifts safely and efficiently
• Load and unload steel products, building materials and customer orders
• Transport and store oversized and long-length materials throughout the site
• Complete routine equipment inspections and pre-start checks
• Work closely with dispatch, warehouse and production teams
• Assist with stock movements and inventory management
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe work environment
• Adhere to all workplace health and safety procedures
• Support daily operational and customer delivery requirements

Skills & experience we are looking for
• Current LF Forklift Licence
• Previous side loader forklift operating experience
• Experience working with long, heavy or oversized loads
• Strong focus on safety, quality and productivity
• Previous experience in warehouse, manufacturing or logistics environments
• Reliable transport and dependable attendance record
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
• Physically fit and comfortable working in an industrial environment

Highly regarded
• Experience within steel, construction materials or manufacturing industries
• Previous side loader, combi-lift or long-load forklift experience
• Truck loading and dispatch experience
• Knowledge of warehouse inventory systems and stock control processes
• Experience working permanent afternoon or night shifts
