We have an opportunity available for a Flight Assembly Supervisor to join our team at Perth Airport. This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a leadership role within a fast-paced aviation catering environment.

About the Role

As a Flight Assembly Supervisor, you will oversee daily operations across the assembly and packing areas, ensuring all inflight meals and products are packed accurately, meet customer specifications, and are delivered on time. You will play a key role in leading teams, maintaining quality standards, and driving operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise day-to-day assembly and packing operations
  • Ensure all flights are packed accurately and delivered on time
  • Monitor workflow, productivity, and labour allocation
  • Lead, coach, and support team members to achieve targets
  • Assist with rostering and tracking production timings
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, HACCP, and WHS standards
  • Identify issues and implement corrective actions
  • Work closely with Production, Compliance, and Logistics teams, and support documentation, audits, and reporting

About You

  • Experience in a supervisory role within food production, manufacturing, or high-volume operations
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate teams
  • Excellent organisation, planning, and problem-solving abilities
  • Strong understanding of food safety, HACCP, and compliance standards
  • Experience with rostering and resource planning in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and meet tight deadlines
  • Continuous improvement mindset (Lean/Six Sigma experience is advantageous)
