SPEEDY MECH is an exciting small team business operating a car rental business along with light vehicle automotive workshop in Brooklyn, Victoria. Right now we are seeking an individual responsible for the day-to-day management of our vehicle fleet and help in keeping our transport services running efficiently and cost-effectively
Job Duties:
- Assess the company's vehicle needs and source suitable vehicles through purchase, lease, and hire arrangements
- Coordinate the registration, insurance, and handover of new vehicles into the fleet
- Keep the fleet assets register updated with acquisition details, servicing history, and disposal records
- Plan and book routine servicing and repairs to keep vehicles on the road
- Make sure every vehicle stays registered, roadworthy, and compliant with safety and transport regulations
- Speak to clients regularly to understand their transport needs and recommend suitable vehicles and service options
- Provide quotes and advice on hire rates, vehicle suitability, and contract terms
- Handle client complaints and service issues promptly to maintain strong working relationships
Skill required & well versed with:
- Monitor workplace safety practices across the fleet and ensured drivers and staff followed OHS procedures
- Coordinating driver allocations and communicated schedules and vehicle use policies to drivers
- Preparing and managing the fleet operating and capital budget
The benefits
On offer to you:
Salary ranging $80,000 - $100,000 + superannuation
Ability to work full time or on a structured week
Pay: $80,000 - $100,000 per year
