Fitter / Service Technician
- Repair and service company products from start to finish.
- Disassemble, reassemble, and test products according to technical specifications.
- Attend customer sites for installations and troubleshooting.
- Trade qualified (Cert III in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent)
- Hands-on experience with rotating machinery, hand tools, and mechanical repairs
- Current Forklift and Driver's Licence required; overhead crane experience a plus
We're currently hiring a Fitter / Service Technician to join our busy workshop team. Reporting to the Workshop Manager, you'll be responsible for the repair and servicing of company products from start to finish — disassembly, reassembly, testing, and reporting — while working to product manuals and technical specifications. You may also be required to attend customer sites to install, troubleshoot, or repair products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Disassemble, repair, reassemble and test products in line with technical specifications
- Complete detailed reports on work carried out and parts required
- Use hand tools and mechanical knowledge to fit and assemble parts
- Attend customer sites as required for installations and troubleshooting
- Work safely and in line with all OHS policies and procedures
What We're Looking For:
- Cert III in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent trade qualification)
- Strong diagnostic skills and computer literacy
- Practical experience with rotating machinery and mechanical principles
- Current Forklift Licence and Driver's Licence
- Overhead crane experience preferred
- HSC or equivalent preferred
