About the Role:
As a Fishing Sales Assistant, you’ll be the go-to expert for all things fishing.
- Assist customers in selecting the right rods, reels, lures, accessories & more!
- Provide expert advice on local fishing spots, techniques, and tackle options
- Merchandise and maintain the fishing department to ensure it is fully stocked and visually appealing
- Stay up to date with the latest fishing trends, gear, and technology
- Deliver outstanding customer service to ensure a great shopping experience
Who Are We Looking For:
- Passion for fishing – whether it's freshwater, saltwater, or sport fishing, we encourage it all!
- Strong communication skills in a friendly, approachable, and engaging manner
- Willingness to learn and share knowledge with customers and team
- Ability to work in a team and contribute to a positive store environment
- Previous Experience: within stock, customer service, and sales within a fast-paced environment
- Business Acumen: understanding the local consumer market, products, and growth
