Financial Analyst

We're seeking a highly analytical Finance Analyst to join a growing business. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with large data sets, performing complex reconciliations, identifying trends and improving reporting processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform reconciliations and consolidations across multiple data sources

• Analyse financial and operational data to identify insights and trends

• Support month end and management reporting

• Investigate data discrepancies and ensure reporting accuracy

• Develop reporting models, dashboards and analytical tools

• Drive process improvements and automation initiatives

• Partner with stakeholders across finance and the wider business

About You

• 2 to 5 years' experience in Finance, Financial Analysis, Reporting or a similar role

• Advanced Excel skills including Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP and Power Query

• Strong experience working with large and complex data sets

• Excellent reconciliation, consolidation and problem solving skills

• High attention to detail and analytical capability

• Degree qualified in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or a related discipline

• Insurance experience would be highly regarded, however we are equally interested in candidates from banking, wealth management, funds management and broader financial services environments.
