Your new role
- FIFO role based on Groote Eylandt (flights from Darwin or Cairns)
- Working 18 days on / 10 days off roster
- Operating across a wide range of machinery, including dozers, excavators, loaders, skid steers, graders, and rollers
- Truck work including side tipping and occasional float work
- Duties will include:
- Final trim
- Bulk earthworks and bulk loading
- Scrub clearing
- Trenching and backfilling
- Batters, drains, and ramp construction
- Working as part of a skilled crew delivering crushing and screening operations and broader civil works
- Accommodation and meals provided in a resort-style camp
- Pay negotiable depending on experience, licences, and tickets
What you'll need to succeed
- Minimum 5+ years experience as an all-round operator in civil or mining environments
- Tickets and experience across multiple machines (dozer, excavator, loader, grader, roller etc.)
- Ideally have a HC licence, with MC highly desirable
- Previous experience in crushing and screening is highly regarded
- Ability to pass a mine site medical and drug & alcohol testing
- South32 induction (Dams & Quarries) highly advantageous
- Strong reliability and ability to perform in a FIFO environment
