Are you a mechanically minded Field Service Technician who enjoys troubleshooting complex equipment, travelling to customer sites and delivering exceptional customer service? Our client is a globally recognised manufacturer that designs, engineers and manufactures its own specialised equipment. As their Queensland customer base continues to grow, they are seeking a Brisbane-based Field Service Technician to support customers.
Your new role
This is a field service role where you'll provide on-site technical support, diagnostics, repairs, maintenance and installations across Queensland and occasionally interstate. Travel typically accounts for 50% of the role however you will always be home for the weekends.
Key Responsibilities:

Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic and electrical faults within the machinery Carry out preventative maintenance and breakdown repairs Install, commission and service customer equipment Provide on-site technical support and training Complete service reports and documentation Build strong customer relationships through face-to-face interaction Identify spare parts and service improvement opportunities Participate in an on-call support roster

What you'll need to succeed
We are looking for a customer-focused technician who enjoys solving problems in the field and takes pride in providing exceptional service.You will need the following:Trade Qualification: Diesel Fitter / Mechanical Fitter / Mechanic / Crane Technician etcExperience working on diesel engines, mechanical systems, electrical fault-finding, diagnostics and troubleshootingExperience working on heavy equipment or industrial machinery advantageousCustomer-facing service environments
