Our client, GOLDEN AGRI PTY LTD, a growing banana farming business, is seeking an experienced Facility Supervisor to oversee the maintenance, operation, and improvement of farm facilities and infrastructure. The Facility Supervisor will also supervise workers and contractors, manage maintenance schedules and resources, maintain operational records, monitor costs, and ensure compliance with workplace health and safety requirements, farm policies, and relevant agricultural industry standards.
Job Responsibility:
Ensure fruits/Crop are handled, graded, packed, stored, and dispatched according to quality standards and customer requirements, while maintaining hygiene, product quality, and efficient operations.
Duties:
- Assess harvested bananas for quality and determine appropriate grading and packing requirements.
- Monitor fruit quality throughout the packing process to ensure consistency and compliance with quality standards.
- Identify and address issues such as bruising, damage, defects, or grading inconsistencies.
- Work closely with, maintenance staff, and dispatch teams to support efficient daily operations.
- Maintain accurate quality assurance records and traceability documentation for all produce.
- Ensure proper storage conditions are maintained to preserve banana quality during handling and dispatch.
- Train and supervise workers in grading, packing, handling, and quality control procedures.
- Ensure waste materials are managed and disposed of according to farm procedures and environmental requirements.
- Oversee dispatch activities to ensure orders are prepared accurately and delivered on schedule.
- Monitor compliance with farm policies, food safety requirements, and industry quality standards.
Qualification:
·AQF Diploma or higher
·Minimum 2-3 year of experience in related field
Salary:
·$80,000 - $90,000 + Superannuation
Working Condition:
·Full Time - 38 hours per wee
