Rural Northwest Health is dedicated to delivering the best possible health outcomes for the Wimmera Mallee community. The Warracknabeal campus, one of three across the region, offers a broad range of acute, urgent care, aged care, community health, and allied health services. Conveniently located at 18 Dimboola Road, Warracknabeal, it sits midway between Melbourne and Adelaide.

In this role, you’ll deliver evidence-based physical activity interventions for community health outpatients, with potential to support acute and aged care patients as needed.

Part-time and Full-time applicants will be considered.

To be successful, you will need:

  • A qualification in Clinical Exercise Physiology or equivalent with ESSA accreditation (Graduate Diploma or Masters preferred).
  • Strong understanding of primary care and chronic disease management.
  • Demonstrated client-focused approach in assessment, monitoring, and evaluation.
  • Experience with group exercise programs for adults and older adults.
  • Commitment to rural community health needs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Solid computer literacy.
  • Current Level 2 First Aid and CPR.
  • Up-to-date flu vaccination.
  • Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain).
  • Valid Police Check (or willingness to obtain).
