Your new role
An opportunityhas arisen for an experienced Estimating Manager to lead and mentor a growingpre-construction team.
Working closelywith senior leadership, you'll oversee a team consisting of a Senior Estimator,Estimators and a Cadet, while collaborating with the wider pre-constructiondivision to secure and successfully win new work.
Keyresponsibilities include:

Managing the end-to-end tender process for commercial fit out and refurbishment projects. Leading Design & Construct bids from concept through to submission. Reviewing pricing strategies, methodologies and risk assessments. Providing mentorship and guidance to junior estimators and cadets. Building strong relationships with consultants, subcontractors and clients. Working alongside directors to help shape the future growth of the business.

What you'll need to succeed
Proven experience as an Estimator, Senior Estimator or Estimating Manager within the commercial fit out and refurbishment sector. Strong Design & Construct tendering experience. Track record pricing projects typically valued between $2M-$10M, with exposure to larger-scale projects advantageous. Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and develop a team. Excellent commercial acumen and negotiation abilities. Experience working for a reputable fit out contractor in the Sydney market. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across all levels of the business.What you'll get in return
