Lead the operation, maintenance and performance of critical engineering infrastructure and building services
Oversee mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, fire, medical gas and essential building systems
Develop asset management strategies, life cycle plans and preventative maintenance programs
Drive engineering governance, compliance, risk management and audit activities
Lead engineering, maintenance and technical services teams while fostering a culture of safety and accountability
Provide engineering expertise across infrastructure upgrades, refurbishments and capital works projects
Manage engineering service contracts, contractor performance and service delivery outcomes
Develop budgets, forecasts and business cases for engineering projects and asset replacement initiatives
Support business continuity planning and critical incident response relating to engineering services
What you'll need to succeed
Degree qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering or a related discipline
Proven experience managing engineering services within a large and complex environment
Strong knowledge of asset management principles, maintenance strategies and life cycle planning
Demonstrated experience leading multidisciplinary teams and managing contractors
Sound understanding of engineering compliance, statutory obligations and risk management frameworks
Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication and relationship management skills
Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver operational outcomes in a fast-paced environment
Experience within healthcare, aged care, laboratories, data centres, defence or other critical infrastructure environments will be highly regarded.
Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) status or eligibility is desirable
