About the Role

As a Travel Emergency Registered Nurse, you’ll provide high-quality emergency and acute care across a variety of hospital environments, from tertiary referral centers to regional and rural EDs. You’ll conduct triage, resuscitation, and emergency interventions, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver best-practice care in fast-paced emergency settings.

Key responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive emergency and acute nursing care
  • Conduct triage, resuscitation, and emergency interventions
  • Perform cannulation, venepuncture, and medication administration
  • Monitor and respond to clinical deterioration using escalation pathways
  • Collaborate with medical, nursing, and allied health professionals
  • Ensure accurate documentation in line with NSW Health protocols

What you’ll need

  • Current AHPRA Registration (Registered Nurse – Division 1)
  • Minimum 1 year recent Emergency Department nursing experience
  • ALS certification with strong resuscitation and triage capability
  • Current working rights in Australia (urgent, non-sponsorship role)
