Short-Term Assignment | 2 Swings Only | $83/hr | 8/6 Roster

We are currently seeking an experienced Electrician for a short-term site-based opportunity covering 2 swings on an 8/6 roster.

Paying $83 per hour, this is an ideal opportunity for a qualified Electrician who is available for short-term work and looking to pick up two solid swings without committing to a long-term roster.

The Role
Working as part of the site team, you’ll provide electrical maintenance and support across the operation.

Depending on the scope, duties may include:

  • Electrical maintenance and repairs
  • Electrical fault finding and diagnostics
  • Planned and preventative maintenance
  • Breakdown support
  • Inspection and testing of electrical equipment
  • Repairing and replacing electrical components
  • Reading and interpreting electrical drawings and schematics
  • Using electrical testing equipment
  • Completing required maintenance documentation
  • Working alongside other electrical and maintenance personnel
  • Following all site procedures and electrical safety requirements
  • Maintaining a high standard of workmanship and housekeeping

What We’re Looking For
To be considered, you will ideally have:

  • Australian-recognised Electrical trade qualification
  • Current relevant Electrical Licence
  • Previous site-based electrical experience
  • Strong maintenance and fault-finding capabilities
  • Ability to work safely and effectively within a site environment
  • Current Australian Driver’s Licence
  • Strong commitment to workplace health and safety
  • Ability to complete relevant mobilisation and pre-employment requirements
  • Full Australian working rights
  • Availability to commit to both 8/6 swings

Previous experience within mining, resources, fixed plant or heavy industry will be highly regarded.

Relevant tickets such as Working at Heights, Confined Space and EWP will also be advantageous where applicable.
