Electrician / 3rd-4th Year Apprentice - Overhead Cranes
- Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults on overhead cranes.
- Carry out scheduled preventative maintenance and inspections.
- Assist with the installation, testing and commissioning of new crane equipment.
The Opportunity
Are you an Electrician looking for a role where no two days are exactly the same?
Our client is a well-established Western Australian business specialising in overhead crane servicing, maintenance, repairs and installations. They are looking for an experienced Electrician or 3rd/4th Year Apprentice to join their growing team.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys fault finding, working with equipment and getting out on client sites rather than being stuck doing the same thing every day.
What You'll Be Doing
- Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults on overhead cranes and associated equipment
- Carry out scheduled preventative maintenance and inspections
- Assist with the installation, testing and commissioning of new crane equipment
- Attend client sites and provide professional service and technical support
- Troubleshoot equipment and identify faults efficiently
- Communicate with customers and provide advice on equipment operation and maintenance
- Complete service reports, job documentation and maintenance records
- Ensure all work is carried out safely and in line with relevant Australian standards and regulations
What We're Looking For
- Qualified Electrician with a current WA Electrical License, or a 3rd/4th Year Electrical Apprentice
- Strong electrical fault-finding and troubleshooting skills
- Mechanical aptitude and an interest in working with cranes and industrial equipment
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Comfortable working independently while also being part of a team
- Strong commitment to safety
- A current driver's licence
