SequreCare is recruiting on behalf of Quad Energy Solutions Pty Ltd (ABN **************), an Australian business delivering energy and electrical solutions. We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join the team at its Toowoomba office on a full-time, ongoing basis.
About the Role
Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will design, develop and oversee electrical systems and projects from concept through to commissioning.
Key Responsibilities
- Design electrical systems, including power distribution, switchboards, lighting and control systems
- Prepare technical drawings, specifications, load calculations and cost estimates
- Make sure designs and installations comply with AS/NZS 3000 (Wiring Rules), relevant Australian Standards and WHS requirements
- Plan, schedule and supervise installation, testing and commissioning
- Investigate and diagnose electrical faults and recommend solutions
- Liaise with clients, contractors, suppliers and regulatory authorities
- Prepare project reports, documentation and compliance records
- Assess and integrate energy-efficient and renewable energy technologies, such as solar PV and battery storage
Skills and Experience
- Bachelor degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, or an equivalent qualification
- At least [2] years of relevant post-qualification experience
- Sound knowledge of Australian electrical standards and regulations
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or electrical design software
- Strong problem-solving, communication and project management skills
- Eligibility for Engineers Australia membership is desirable
