The company is looking for Electrical Engineering Technicians. This position is responsible for electrical design for residential, commercial or industrial installations, electrical power and solar system generation and transmission, and instrumentation and control systems.
Duties and responsibilities:
Design, operation and performance of electrical generation and distribution networks, electrical machinery and components and electronic communications, instrumentation and control systems, equipment and components
Prepare material cost and timing estimates, reports and design specifications forelectrical and electronic systems and equipment
Design electrical and electronic circuits, components, systems and equipment
Developing apparatus and procedures to test electronic components, circuits andsystems
Supervise and inspect the installation, modification, testing and operation of electrical and electronic systems and equipment
Develop maintenance and operating standards for electrical and electronic systems and equipment
Required qualification/skills:
Completion of relevant electrician apprenticeship program
Completion of a Bachelor of Science or Diploma of Engineering preferred
Electrician license required in state of practice
3-5 years of electrical experience preferred
Ability to lift , carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds
Ability to bend, climb, squat, reach, and kneel
Comfortable reading and understanding electrical blueprints, schematics, and diagrams
Working knowledge of electrical theory, and the associated principles, materials, and equipment
Demonstrated ability to operate hand and power tools associated with electrical work
Ability to calculate basic mathematical problems
Willing to work overtime
Salary range $80,000-$90,000pa + superannuation.
