EL1 Program Finance Lead

Your new role
As the Finance Lead, you will provide strategic financial leadership and oversee a small finance team supporting a complex and fast-paced program environment. Working closely with senior executives and program managers, you will drive sound financial management and governance outcomes.
Key responsibilities include:

• Leading a small finance team responsible for budget and financial management activities
• Providing strategic financial advice to executives and program leaders
• Managing complex program budgets, forecasting and financial reporting
• Supporting management accounting and project accounting functions
• Developing financial governance frameworks, policies and procedures
• Delivering financial insights to support executive and governance committee decision-making
• Managing asset-related financial activities and reporting
• Building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders

What you'll need to succeed

• Must have NV1 Security Clearance
• CA or CPA qualification (or equivalent postgraduate accounting qualification)
• Extensive experience managing large and complex budgets
• Strong management accounting and financial advisory experience
• Experience leading and developing finance teams
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
• Advanced financial analysis and reporting capability

Nice to have

• Capital asset management experience
• Project accounting experience within large transformation programs
• Experience supporting executive-level governance and decision-making
