Your new role
You will sit at the centre of decision-making guiding, advising and partnering with business teams as they lead their own procurements. Your value comes from insight, judgement and influence. Duties include:
- Act as a strategic procurement advisor, supporting business areas across the full procurement lifecycle
- Partner with internal stakeholders to uplift capability and confidence in procurement practices
- Provide expert advice on policy, compliance and best practice frameworks
- Review procurement approaches and documentation to ensure quality, consistency and risk management
- Support complex or sensitive procurements with targeted guidance and problem-solving
- Lead a small team and foster a culture of enablement.
What you'll need to succeed
- Strong experience in government procurement frameworks and advisory roles
- Proven ability to partner with stakeholders and guide outcomes rather than deliver them directly
- Confidence engaging with senior leaders and providing pragmatic, solutions-focused advice
- Ability to balance compliance with commercial outcomes
- Leadership experience with a focus on coaching and support
