    About the Role
    We are seeking experienced and confident Disability Support Workers in Coburg (VIC) to support participants with complex behaviours and mental health diagnoses.
    You will be working closely with clinicians, behaviour support practitioners, and support coordinators to implement care plans that prioritise safety, dignity, and wellbeing.

    Key Responsibilities
    Provide hands-on daily support and personal care to participants with complex needs

    Implement Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) strategies in a calm, professional manner

    Manage behavioural escalations with empathy and de-escalation techniques

    Support participants with medication prompts, emotional regulation, and daily routines

    Encourage participation in community, therapy, and independent-living activities

    Maintain clear and accurate documentation (shift notes, incident reports, etc.)

    Work collaboratively with the wider multidisciplinary and clinical team

    Essential Requirements
    Minimum 5 years' experience in behavioural or mental health support

    Certificate III or IV in Disability, Individual Support, or Mental Health (or equivalent)

    Current NDIS Worker Screening Check & Working with Children Check

    Current First Aid and CPR Certification

    Valid Driver's Licence and reliable transport

    Strong interpersonal skills, reliability, and emotional resilience

    Highly Regarded
    Experience in restrictive practice safeguards and PBS plan implementation

    Training in trauma-informed care, de-escalation, or mental health first aid

    Experience supporting participants with complex diagnoses
