What You’ll Drive

The Industry and Innovation division leads self-assurance, RTO and higher education compliance, strategic industry engagement, teaching and learning standards and educational innovation at TAFE SA. The Director, Teaching and Learning works closely with the Executive Director, Industry and Innovation and the broader team to provide leadership, authoritative advice and coaching across TAFE SA on quality and innovative teaching and learning practice.

The Skills You Bring

  • Proven success and significant experience in senior educational leadership
  • Demonstrated ability to plan and drive large-scale teaching and learning performance and improvement initiatives
  • Strong stakeholder management, negotiation and political acumen, with an understanding of government priorities, processes and accountabilities
  • Extensive experience shaping strategy and developing, implementing and evaluating teaching and learning frameworks and policies aligned with regulatory requirements and research-informed best practice

What You Need to Know

A valid Working with Children Check (WWCC) issued by the South Australian Department of Human Services is required before employment.
