Insurance Senior Associate

The Opportunity  

This is a fantastic opportunity to join the Melbourne office of a global law firm headquartered in the UK with a significant international footprint across Europe, Asia-Pacific, and the Middle East, known for its strong focus on insurance law.

Its insurance practice is one of its core strengths and advises a broad range of insurers, reinsurers, brokers, and insured corporates. The team handles the full spectrum of contentious and non-contentious insurance matters, including personal injury, professional indemnity, public liability, property damage, and regulatory insurance matters.

The practice is particularly experienced in complex, high-value claims and multi-party litigation, which can involve multi-jurisdictional issues. It also has a strong presence in defence work for insured professionals and corporates across industries such as construction, financial services, healthcare, and professional services. 

You will work with multiple Partners who have a wealth of insurance experience, providing support to them while also providing mentorship and guidance to junior members.

About you

The ideal candidate will have;

- At least 4 years of post admission experience within insurance law or defendant personal injury law. Candidates with more experience are strongly encouraged to apply;
- Good time management skills; and
- Good verbal and written skills.
