- Join an established landscaping team working across high-end residential gardens.
- Opportunity for experienced landscape gardeners and team leaders to take responsibility for their own team.
- Enjoy a friendly, close-knit team environment with consistent hours and long-term career opportunities.
Great gardens need good people. If you know your plants, take pride in quality work and enjoy being part of a good crew, this could be the move for you.
We’re looking for experienced Landscape Gardeners and Maintenance Team Leaders to join an established landscaping team working across some of Brisbane’s high-end residential gardens.
There are opportunities here for two types of people.
You might be an experienced landscape gardener who loves being hands-on and takes genuine pride in producing great-looking gardens.
Or you may already be leading a crew, or be ready to step up, and want the opportunity to take responsibility for your own team and portfolio of properties.
Either way, if you know what quality garden maintenance looks like and want to work somewhere that values good people and high standards, we’d like to hear from you.
Why Make the Move?
- $40–$42 per hour, depending on experience
- Permanent, full-time position
- Monday to Friday, keeping your weekends free
- Work across premium residential gardens
- Opportunities for both experienced gardeners and team leaders
- Friendly, close-knit team with a genuine family feel
- Quality equipment and established systems
- Consistent hours and secure ongoing work
- Training and ongoing horticultural development
- Regular team and social events
- Long-term career opportunities within an established business
More Than Just Mowing Lawns
This is
quality landscape and garden maintenance, not a basic mow-and-go operation.
You’ll work across established residential properties where presentation, plant health and attention to detail really matter.
Depending on your experience and position, your work could include:
- Maintaining high-end residential gardens
- Pruning, hedging and detailed plant care
- Lawn maintenance, mowing and edging
- Planting, mulching and soil improvement
- Weed, pest and disease management
- Seasonal garden maintenance and rejuvenation
- Basic irrigation checks and maintenance
- Identifying plant health and maintenance requirements
- Working alongside an experienced landscape maintenance crew
- Planning and prioritising work across properties
- Liaising professionally with clients when required
For Team Leaders, you’ll also take responsibility for coordinating the day, guiding your crew, maintaining quality standards and making sure each property is completed to the standard expected.
A Team You’ll Want to Be Part Of
The culture here is a big part of the opportunity.
It’s an established business, but the environment remains friendly, supportive and down-to-earth. People know each other, help each other out and take pride in the work they produce.
Good work is recognised, people are treated as individuals, and there’s genuine support for anyone wanting to develop their horticultural knowledge or take on greater responsibility.
The standards are high, but so is the support.
Regular social events and team activities are part of the culture, and there’s a strong focus on creating somewhere good people actually want to stay.
Requirements
What We’re Looking For
We’re interested in hearing from experienced people across different levels.
For Landscape Gardeners, we’re looking for solid hands-on experience, good plant knowledge and someone who can confidently maintain gardens to a high standard.
For Team Leaders, we’re looking for that same horticultural ability combined with the confidence to organise work, lead people and take ownership of the finished result.
Ideally, you’ll bring:
- Solid landscape or garden maintenance experience
- Good horticultural and plant knowledge
- Strong pruning, hedging and garden-care skills
- Confidence using landscape maintenance tools and equipment
- A strong eye for detail and presentation
- A reliable and proactive approach
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Leadership experience or capability if applying at Team Leader level
- Current QLD driver’s licence
- Reliable transport to get to HQ
A horticultural qualification is highly regarded, although experience, attitude and team fit are just as important.
