About Our Client

Our client is a technology enabled services business experiencing astronomical growth.

Job Description

• Prepare monthly management accounts, variance analysis and performance reporting to support business decision-making.
• Assist with month-end close processes including journals, accruals, reconciliations and general ledger maintenance.
• Analyse customer, contract and service line profitability, providing insights to improve margins and operational performance
• Support budgeting, forecasting and cash flow reporting across the business.
• Partner with operational and commercial stakeholders to understand performance drivers and identify improvement opportunities.
• Develop and maintain financial models, dashboards and reporting tools to support strategic and operational decisions.
• Monitor key financial and operational metrics, identifying trends, risks and opportunities for management.
• Contribute to pricing, tender and business case analysis for new and existing customer opportunities.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives across finance systems, reporting processes and data quality, leveraging technology and AI where appropriate.

The Successful Applicant

• Tertiary qualification in Accounting & Finance
• CA/CPA qualification
• Strong technical accounting fundamentals
• A compelling ability to influence and build rapport with non finance stakeholders, and to challenge the status quo/process improve
• A lively, social personality
• A genuine thirst to learn, work hard and grow within the business as it scales
• Strong excel skill - V lookups and pivots alone won't cut it here
• A proactive approach to 'getting ahead' with embedding AI functionality in finance and leveraging the likes of Claude to automate repetitive grunt work
