Engineering Trades Australia (ETA) is currently seeking experienced Mechanical Fitters, Riggers and Boilermakers for upcoming works at Goonyella CHPP in the Bowen Basin.
There are two major projects running back-to-back, providing the opportunity for ongoing shutdown work from late September through to December.
GRM Loop Upgrade
- 24 September - 19 October
- 4/4/4 roster
GRM Major Shutdown
- 29 October - 15 December
- 4/4/4 roster
We will be recruiting throughout the Loop Upgrade, with additional positions available for the Major Shutdown.

Requirements
Candidates will need to hold relevant experience and be available for site training prior to their scheduled start date.
Mandatory:
- SARC training
- Working at Heights
- Confined Space
- Gas Test Atmosphere SOA
Highly desirable:
- Current Goonyella induction
- EWP High Risk Work Licence (HRWL)
Important Information
- Workers are responsible for making their own way from home to camp.
- Bus transport from camp to site is provided.
- All compliance documentation must be completed prior to site training.
- Candidates must be available for pre-start training and mobilisation requirements.
