Your New Role
Great opportunity for a Trade Qualified Carpenter based in Mount Isa. You'll carry out general carpentry, repairs and maintenance across residential housing and site facilities. This role offers Monday to Friday, 10-hour day shifts, with potential overtime. Approximately 2-3 months of work, with the possibility of extending into 2027.
Job Duties may include but are not limited to:
- Residential renovations across mining accommodation
- Repairs and maintenance to existing housing
- Removing and replacing doors, frames, skirting and timberwork
- Installing cabinetry, fixtures and fittings
- Internal and external carpentry repairs
- Minor framing and finishing works
- Property upgrades and refurbishments
- Additional carpentry works across site facilities
- Maintaining a clean and safe work are
What You'll Need to Succeed:
- Trade qualification in Carpentry
- Current manual driver's licence
- Ability to pass a mine-site medical and random Drug & Alcohol testing
- Strong commitment to workplace safety
- Ability to work effectively within a team
