- Install and maintain residential and commercial air conditioning and refrigerant systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair faulty wiring and defective parts.
- Communicate effectively with clients during service periods.
We are seeking qualified AC Refrigeration Technicians and Electricians who hold the relevant trade qualifications as well as experience in both residential and commercial work. These are full-time position located in Townsville Region,QLD with an immediate start.
In these roles, you will be responsible for:
- Installing and maintaining both residential and commercial Air Conditioning & Refrigerant systems to the highest standard.
- Servicing pre-installed air conditioning, refrigerant and other cooling systems with the ability to troubleshoot problems and issues.
- Repair and replace faulty wiring and defective parts.
- Complete assigned repair and preventative maintenance work orders in a safe, timely and professional manner.
- Examine blueprints, wiring diagrams and specifications to determine sequence and methods of operation.
- Install electrical switchboards.
- Measure and lay out insulation reference points.
- Connect electrical systems to power supply.
- Installation and maintenance of solar panels.
- Liaising and communicating effectively with clients during service periods in a professional, organised and friendly manner.
To be successful in these roles, you will possess the following:
- Electrical Trade Qualification and at least of 1 years experience in AC Refrigeration/ Electrical work
- A Restricted Electrician's License (restricted to Refrigeration and Air-conditioning), for AC technicians
- Current A Grade QLD Electrical Workers License or ability to obtain it within a given time, for Electricians.
- An ARCTick Refrigerant Handling License (RHL), for AC technicians
- Previous experience with split and ducted air conditioning systems
- A White Card
- A current Driver's License
Salary range of $75,000-$95,000 per annum depending on qualifications and experience.
