About the Role:
In this role, you will assist our Boilermaker with a variety of workshop and site-based tasks while learning valuable hands-on skills in fabrication, repairs, and maintenance work. This is a great opportunity for someone wanting to get their foot in the door in the trade industry, with the potential to progress into a Boilermaker Apprenticeship for the right person. This is a residential role and applicants based in Karratha are strongly encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities:

Assisting with boilermaker and fabrication tasks

Using hand and power tools
-
Grinding, cutting, and preparation work

General workshop and labouring duties
-
Maintaining a clean and safe work environment

Supporting site maintenance and repair work as required
Requirements:
-
Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
-
Interest in fabrication, welding, or becoming a Boilermaker
-
Reliable and punctual
-
Ability to work well in a team environment
-
Current Driver’s Licence preferred

Willingness to occasionally work weekends and flexible hours
-
Understanding of Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S) regulations

Ability to pass a Medical, including a Drug & Alcohol test
-
Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail

Strong organisational skills for efficient work

Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
