Service Technician

A leading international company in the compressor industry, offering a wide range of products, services, and solutions that are integral to daily life, from air compressors in soda water production to cooling systems in food storage and pharmaceutical storage, are now seeking an experienced Service Technician
Responsibilities will include:
- • Provide after-hours call-out assistance and callback availability when rostered on duty.
- • Conduct overnight field trips to service breakdowns, maintenance, and customer support.
- • Pass sales leads onto sales staff.
- • Ensure company-owned equipment & premises are kept in a clean, presentable, and serviceable condition.
- • Train, Support, coach, and Mentor new and existing colleagues.
- • Install, repair, and maintain the range of Compressors.
- • Carry out technical preventative maintenance and general service work.
- • Conduct risk assessments and ensure the working environment is safe at all times
- Participate in and conduct safety audits for assigned areas.
Requirements:
- Knowledge of Compressors or similar is essential.
- Ability to converse and communicate Technical and Product information
- Intermediate Computer Skills (Word, Excel & PowerPoint).
- Demonstrated Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Problem-solving ability and able to determine root cause.
- Trade Qualifications Cert III – Fitter and Turner with a minimum of 5 years Maintenance experience.
- Experience in troubleshooting industrial air compressors and executing full-machine installation and overhaul projects.
