Project Manager | B2B Website Transformation & Business Integration

• Initial 6-month contract
• Sydney, Eastern Suburbs, Full-time on-site 5x days per week
• Rate $900 + Super Daily

The Role
Take ownership of two business-critical initiatives for an established B2B distribution organisation: a major rebuild of its transactional website and the remaining integration of a recently acquired New Zealand business.
This is a broad, hands-on delivery role for a commercially minded Project Manager who can operate across technology, business operations, vendors and senior stakeholders. You will inherit both initiatives in progress, establish continuity through a structured handover and drive the next phase of delivery.

The Opportunity
The organisations B2B website supports more than 10,000 customers and a significant proportion of its revenue. The existing platform is approximately 13 years old and connects directly with the ERP and ordering environment, making this a substantial operational and technology transformation rather than a design-led website refresh.
A specialist consultancy has completed an initial diagnostic and an RFP has been issued to potential delivery partners. You will take ownership of the vendor evaluation process, assess custom-build and platform-based solutions, develop the commercial recommendation and lead delivery following vendor appointment.
You will also manage the remaining stages of a cross-border business integration following an ERP migration, coordinating several operational, systems and business change work streams across Australia and New Zealand.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the B2B website transformation from vendor evaluation and recommendation through mobilisation and delivery.
• Assess vendor proposals, costs, delivery approaches, risks and suitability for the business.
• Ensure the chosen website solution supports product discovery, pricing, availability, ordering and ERP integration.
• Prepare clear options, recommendations and commercial positions for senior stakeholders.
• Manage the remaining New Zealand business integration, including payroll, legal entity, trading terms, warehouse and process-related activities.
• Coordinate stakeholders across the Australian and New Zealand businesses.
• Manage external vendors and work closely with internal technology, operational and business teams.
• Maintain control of scope, schedule, budget, governance, risks, issues, dependencies and decisions.
• Keep multiple concurrent work streams moving while navigating ambiguity and changing priorities.

About You
You are an experienced Project Manager with the breadth to understand both business operations and technology delivery. You can quickly get across an unfamiliar operating environment, determine what matters commercially and guide stakeholders towards practical decisions.
You will bring:

• Demonstrated experience delivering medium-to-large business and technology projects.
• Strong stakeholder engagement, vendor management and project governance capabilities.
• Experience leading a complex website rebuild, eCommerce implementation or digital commerce transformation.
• Exposure to ERP-connected websites, ordering platforms or broader business systems.
• Experience managing an RFP, evaluating vendors and presenting recommendations to senior decision-makers.
• Confidence managing several business and technology work streams concurrently.
• A pragmatic, hands-on approach and the ability to create structure within an evolving environment.
• Experience within B2B commerce, distribution, wholesale, logistics or another complex product-based organisation would be particularly valuable. Exposure to post-acquisition integration, ERP migration, payroll or operational process change would also be advantageous.
