About the Role
As a Wellness Personal Support Worker within the Lifestyle team, you will deliver high-quality personal, emotional, and social care that enhances residents’ dignity, independence, and wellbeing.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
- Assisting with personal care (showering, dressing, grooming, toileting)
- Supporting mobility and safe transfers
- Assisting residents with meals and dietary needs
- Monitoring and reporting changes in health or behaviour
- Maintaining accurate documentation
- Working collaboratively with nurses and the wider care team
- Deliver a diverse range of lifestyle programs tailored to the residents' interests, abilities, and preferences as directed by the Lifestyle Coordinator
- Promote and encourage our clients to actively participate in leisure activities of interest to them
What We’re Looking For
- Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing) or equivalent
- Cert IV Leisure & Health (Preferred, not essential)
- Experience in conducting Activities in residential Aged Care
- Passion for aged care and helping others
- Friendly, compassionate, and adaptable team player
- Great communication skills and a positive attitude
