We are seeking experienced Assistant in Nursing (AIN) professionals to join the healthcare team at Wolston Correctional Centre on a casual basis.

This is a great opportunity for experienced AINs looking to work in a unique healthcare environment.

About the Role

Working as an AIN within a correctional healthcare setting, you will provide quality care and support to patients while working alongside a professional multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Key responsibilities include:

Providing compassionate and respectful patient care

Supporting patients with personal care and daily living needs

Monitoring and reporting changes in patient wellbeing

Assisting nursing and healthcare staff with day-to-day patient care

Maintaining accurate documentation

Following infection control, safety and clinical procedures

Promoting patient dignity, privacy and wellbeing

About You

To be successful, you will have:

Minimum 2 years' experience as an AIN or Aged Care Worker

Certificate III in Individual Support, Aged Care or equivalent, OR be studying a Bachelor of Nursing

Current First Aid and CPR

Current National Police Clearance

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

A professional, calm and respectful approach

Ability to work effectively within a structured healthcare environment

Commitment to patient safety, dignity and confidentiality
