Youth Worker - Sunshine & Fraser Coast

National Networks Plus (NNP) is the only Not-for-Profit staffing agency operating in Australia.  From its humble beginnings supporting the Health and Community sector in Sydney, we have expanded to deliver workforce services across Australia that support the sustainability and quality service delivery for our workforce partners.  

We are currently expanding our staffing pool across the Sunshine and Fraser Coast region to support our growing client base. As part of this growth, we are seeking Expressions of Interest from passionate and dedicated individuals with experience working as a Youth Worker who would like to be considered for upcoming client opportunities. So, if you are someone that has a passion for helping others and experience within a heath or community setting, we would love to have you join the team.

Duties include:

  • Build and maintain positive relationships with the people you support.
  • Follow established care plans.
  • Collaborate with relevant stakeholders.
  • Respond to crisis situations, offering immediate support and collaborating with appropriate authorities.
  • Maintain accurate records of interactions, assessments, and program outcomes.
  • Work positively and collaborate with team members to ensure the highest care and support provided.

Requirements: 

YOUTH WORKER

  • Cert IV in Child, Youth and Family Intervention or other relevant field (eg: Disability, Mental Health etc.) - Or working towards
  • Hope & Healing Certificate (or willing to obtain)
  • Current First Aid and CPR (or willing to obtain)
  • Current NDIS Worker Screening (or willing to obtain)
  • Current (Paid) Working with Children check (or willing to obtain)
  • Recent and relevant experience in a similar role
  • 2 professional supervisor references
  • Unrestricted Australian Driver's License 
  • Comprehensive Car Insurance (or willing to obtain)
