- Assist in cleaning and packaging of steel plates
- Operate overhead crane and forklift
- Support machine operating and despatch teams

Pearl Recruitment are urgently seeking a Trade Assistant for an ongoing role in our client's Hope Valley workshop. You will be part of an operation supplying to a variety of Tier 1&2 mining companies. You will be someone who enjoys working in a team environment, with experience in despatch processes and forklift operations.
This role will see you engaging in the following:
- Cleaning and packaging of steel plates
- General heavy lifting and labour
- Assisting both machine operating team and despatch team
- Overhead crane and forklift operation
- Use of hand-tools; welding, grinding, oxy-cutting
Pay Rate:
- $43.75/hour + Super; Overtime Available
Hours/Shifts:
- Monday - Thursday; 5am-2pm (Standard Dayshift)
- Fridays; 5am-12pm (Standard Dayshift)
- Rotating shift roster every month; 24/7 workshop operations
- Occasional weekend work available for the right candidate
Requirements:
- Driver's licence + reliable transport to and from Hope Valley
- Construction white card
- Forklift licence + experience
- Experience in a similar role, working with steel
- Full Australian working rights
- Strong work ethic & good communication
