Maintenance Fitter

Primo are looking for a Maintenance Fitter to join our dedicated onsite team at our snacking production facility at Wacol. You will directly contribute to the reliability, safety and efficiency of our three production lines through proactive and planned maintenance.

This is an afternoon shift role working Monday to Friday, approximately 2:00pm - 10:00pm.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on production equipment
• Complete activities for production start-ups and/or shutdown
• Conduct Root Cause Analysis with automation technicians and engineering
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
• Work with hydraulics, pneumatics, welding, and general mechanical tasks
• Work with our planners and automation technicians to ensure lines are efficient and productive every day

What You'll Bring

• Certificate III in Engineering - Mechanical Trade (or equivalent)
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
• Willingness to learn and retain knowledge
• Motivated, proactive and safety-conscious attitude
