As a growing solar and electrical business, our client is looking for a motivated Solar Electrician to join our team and play a key role in delivering solar installations and electrical solutions across a range of projects. Within this role you will conduct compliant installation of products, manage projects efficiently to ensure deadlines are achieved, enhance safety practices, mentor apprentices, support team members, and promote our core values. Your role includes maintaining accurate records, manage inventory for your jobs, and ensure effective communication with customers and staff.
 
This is a permanent full-time position and starting at 6.15am Monday to Friday with the opportunity for overtime.
 
The role:
 

• General electrical works (residential), including switchboards, house rewires, earthing, metering, lighting, ceiling fans, TVs, data points etc.
• Carry out installation of solar panels, batteries, EV Chargers, batteries including electrical wiring, mounting of inverters and panels, testing, and final sign off. 
• Conduct fault finding, diagnose and repairs  
• Perform routine maintenance on solar PV systems, including panel clean and managing warranty issues.
• Ensure compliance and all safety procedures are followed and adhered to.
• Manage timelines and budgets to ensure all jobs are completed on time and within budget.
• Organise materials and tools for each job ahead of time.

 
  What we're looking for:

• Current NSW Electrical Contractor, Supervisors Licence or Provisional License
• Solar Accreditation Australia (SAA) Certified
• Grid Connected Solar PV Design/Install Accreditation
• Solar Battery Storage Design and Install Accreditation (desirable or training to be provided)
• NSW Manual Driver's License
• Working at Heights

• General Construction Induction Card (White Card)
• Min. 2 years relevant work experience within solar, battery and electrical industry
• Demonstrated experience in managing electrical projects
• Competence in documentation, reporting, and compliance with industry standards and regulations
• Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and schematics
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Strong organisational skills for managing multiple tasks and priorities
• Excellent attention to detail and high standards of workmanship
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
