Located in Mount Barker SA 5251, Team Zenith Pty Ltd, trading as Zenith Custom Creations, operates in the manufacturing industry and specialises in custom metal fabrication. The business works with materials including steel, stainless steel and aluminium to manufacture fabricated metal products and components for a range of applications.
The business is currently seeking an experienced and skilled Welder to join their manufacturing team.
Key Responsibilities
- Reading and interpreting drawings, specifications and job requirements to determine welding and fabrication requirements.
- Selecting, preparing and positioning metal materials and components for fabrication and welding.
- Cutting and shaping metal sections using appropriate tools and equipment.
- Aligning and fitting metal components prior to welding.
- Performing welding operations using appropriate welding techniques and equipment.
- Joining metal components and fabricated sections in accordance with required specifications.
- Working with materials including steel, stainless steel and aluminium.
- Inspecting completed welds and fabricated components to ensure accuracy and quality.
- Finishing welded components using appropriate grinding, cleaning and finishing processes.
- Using welding, fabrication and measuring tools and equipment safely and correctly.
- Maintaining welding tools, equipment and work areas in a clean and safe condition.
- Following workplace health and safety procedures throughout welding and fabrication activities.
About You
- At least 1 year of relevant experience as a Welder or in a closely related welding and fabrication role.
- Demonstrated welding and metal fabrication skills.
- Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications and job requirements.
- Experience preparing, positioning, joining and finishing metal components.
- Ability to use welding, fabrication and measuring tools and equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Good understanding of workplace health and safety requirements.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

Salary: AUD $79,000 – $99,000 per annum
