The Opportunity 

I'm currently recruiting for a Sales Consultant to join a well-established, family-owned luxury jewellery business based in Brisbane CBD.

This is a great opportunity for someone who knows luxury retail and understands that selling jewellery is about much more than the product. It's about building relationships, understanding the client, creating an experience and becoming someone they come back to time and time again.

You'll be working with distinctive, bespoke and custom-designed jewellery, dealing with clients who are looking for something genuinely special.
 
About the Role

• Deliver a high level of personalised service across the full sales process
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new clients
• Develop your own client book through effective clientelling and follow-up
• Work with bespoke and custom-designed pieces and understand the story behind each piece
• Provide expert advice around jewellery, design, materials and craftsmanship
• Create a memorable and elevated experience for every client
• Work closely with the wider team to achieve sales and customer service goals

About You
 
We're looking for someone who has experience in luxury sales and understands how to build genuine, long-term client relationships.
You will ideally have:

• Previous experience in luxury retail, jewellery or another high-end sales environment
• Strong clientelling and relationship-building skills
• Good knowledge of jewellery, materials, craftsmanship and design
• The ability to confidently communicate the story and uniqueness of bespoke pieces
• A polished and professional presentation
• Strong communication skills and a natural ability to connect with clients
• A genuine interest in luxury products and delivering an exceptional customer experience

Jewellery qualifications, gemology training or formal industry training will be highly regarded, but the right luxury sales experience and proven clientelling ability will also be considered.

Preferred Qualifications

• Formal training or certification in jewellery sales or gemology
• Minimum two years of experience in luxury retail or jewellery sales
• Understanding of luxury brand positioning and high-net-worth client engagement
