About the role:
We are seeking an experienced Relief Village Manager to provide operational leadership and site support across remote accommodation villages in Western Australia. This role is ideal for a versatile hospitality or village operations professional who thrives in dynamic environments and can seamlessly step into existing operations to maintain service excellence, safety standards, and team performance.
As a Relief Village Manager, you will provide short to medium-term coverage during annual leave, vacancies, project requirements, peak operational periods, and other business needs. You will be responsible for ensuring the continued successful operation of village services while maintaining a positive experience for both clients and residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assume responsibility for the day-to-day management of village operations during relief assignments.
- Oversee accommodation, housekeeping, reception, food and beverage, catering, maintenance, retail, administration, and support services.
- Maintain operational continuity and service standards across all departments.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and contractual obligations.
What you'll need to succeed:
- Relevant qualifications in Hospitality, Business, Management, or a related discipline.
- Current C Class Driver's Licence.
- Advanced First Aid Certificate.
- Approved Manager Certification.
- Responsible Service of Alcohol certification or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a Village Manager, Camp Manager, Operations Manager, Hospitality Manager, or similar leadership role within a remote site environment.
- Experience using INX.
- Strong leadership capabilities with experience managing multidisciplinary teams.
- Proven ability to quickly adapt to new sites and operational environments.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and Drug/Alcohol screen.
- Full Australian working rights.
- Reside in Western Australia.
